Do I really need to create an account to shop for a bag?

So you dilly-dallied awhile but finally came around to liking a bag. And it’s sold out. Don’t worry, just click on the “Notify me when back” and enter your email id. Whenever it gets restocked, you’ll hear from us.
Psst.. sometimes a particular leather could get scarce and while we may not be able to bring it back, we’d ensure that there would be other colours and designs to suit your fancy. So don’t be disheartened, and we’ll keep you posted on our new stuff!
Is it really pure leather? I don’t know how to tell the difference between real and fake!
Yes it is. 100%. We love pure leather and carefully handpick the one that goes into making your Tribe bag truly awesome. Nothing brings us greater joy than crafting each individual Tribe bag only in the finest genuine leather sourced from Italy and India for you.
Here’s how to tell if a Tribe bag is pure leather – we add a removeable tag on the bag made from the same material as your bag. You can feel the back of the tag, it has a soft, suede feel which is a sign of pure leather. Faux leather or vinyl has a plastic texture at the back.
Other ways to tell real leather are real leather never looks homogeneous, but is textured. Imperfections, in this case, stress originality and handcrafted manufacture. For coloured hides, tint can never be uniform. So you know if the leather on the bag looks too perfect, it may most likely be fake. More importantly, trust your nose. Leather generally gives a characteristic smell, strong and hard very unlike any other odours.
How do I pay for my bag?
You can pay for your orders using VISA, MasterCard or American Express or through net banking. We have tied up with Razorpay as our secured payment gateway partner and accept debit and credit cards of all major banks. We, however, do not accept checks, money orders, uncut gemstones, galleons or broken promises.
I have wads of cash lying around. Do you accept cash on delivery?
Currently we are unable to offer cash on delivery. All the orders are prepaid online.
I tried placing my order but something went wrong. What happens to the money deducted from the card?
How will the bag be delivered to me?
Our reputed courier partners - Blue Dart, Delhivery or FedEx will deliver your bag.
How long will it take for my bag to arrive?
All orders are dispatched within 2 working days of the purchase. You will be notified by email on the dispatch of your purchase. The delivery can take anywhere between 1-4 working days depending on your location. In cases of some remote locations, delivery may take upto a week. You can get in touch with us to get the shipment tracking number and track your delivery.
To avoid any kind of delay or loss of merchandise, we request you to ensure you provide us true and complete shipping details.
How much will the shipping cost be?
We offer free shipping on all orders delivered across India. Yay!
Can I change the shipping address after placing the order?
We want to get your bag to you as soon as possible and as a result, dispatch it promptly once your order has been received. However, you can still email us on firstname.lastname@example.org with the change request and we shall try and accommodate the same, if the bag hasn’t already been couriered across to you.
How do you know if the order has been successfully placed?
Once your order has been placed successfully, we send a confirmation mail to your registered email id with the order details.
How do I modify or cancel my order?
We try to ship your bag as soon as the order is placed to ensure quick delivery. However, you can immediately drop us an email at email@example.com and depending on the status of your order shipment, we will try and accommodate your request.
I would like to send a gift – how do I enter details for the recipient?
At the time of checkout, in the shipping details, simply enter the name and the address of the person who you would like to gift the bag to.

Do you ship internationally?
At present, we only deliver across India. But we would be launching our international services soon. Do drop us an email at email@example.com and we will send you a shout-out when we go international.
Can I return a bag?
We hardly think you would want to return a Tribe bag once in your possession, but in the rare chance of such an occurrence, here are the cases in which you can raise a return request with us by dropping us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’d be happy to resolve it.
- If the bag delivered to you is not the one I ordered
Blimey, we are not that stupid but if we did do this, don’t worry we’ve got you covered!
- If you find issues with any hardware function. g.: Zips, Straps, locks, etc.
We take quality seriously especially because each bag is given individual handcrafted attention. Only the finest quality hardware is used in your bags. However, on delivery of the bag if you do find a malfunction, let us know immediately and we’ll get it fixed.
Please note the following variations apply to each bag shipped by us and are not defects. We would be unable to accept return requests for any of them:
- Leather: The texture and feel of the leather may vary from what your monitor displays as leather is a natural material and no two hides are alike. This way, you are assured that your bag is unique.
- Colour: The reproduction of color of the bag you order is as accurate as possible. However, please note, depending on your screen resolution and monitor display, there may be slight variations in what you see online and the colors available at the workshop.
- Hardware Color: Metal hardware on some products might tarnish or lose their shine over time due to weather conditions and usage. These are changes, which occur due to the varied use and handling of the product by the customer and cannot be held against us.
- Measurements:All our bags are handcrafted, hence no two bags are identical in their absolute measurements. There might be a slight change, but minimal to the eye which therefore would not change the essence of the design.
- Scratches and Marks:Marks are common on leather as each hide is different to the other and no two hides are the same. Scratches and marks on the leather surface are a part of the characteristics of the material. They do not qualify as defects. This can happen over a period of time, which enhances the look and feel of the product, adding to its appeal.
How do I return the bag to you?
Once we confirm your return request, to be eligible for a refund, the bag must be returned to us within 10 calendar days from the date of delivery. We ask that you return the bag unused, with all the original tags intact, along with the original packaging such as dust bags, boxes and dispatch note supplied with your delivery. Returns that are damaged or soiled, washed or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please note that at peak times, it may take us up to 7 days to process your return request. Please ensure you include your order number when returning any bag. Once approved, your refund will be processed within 7 days of us receiving the bag. All shipping costs on returns will be borne by you. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Do you allow exchanges?
We are sorry that we are unable to currently exchange goods by courier. Please return your bag as per our return policy and you can place a new order
Do you offer any repair services?
You can drop us an email on email@example.com with your repair request. Depending on the age of the bag and nature of repair, we promise to carefully assess your request and advise you what can be done to rectify things.
